By means of this notice, the Madrid Foundation for Excellence with its registered offices at 53 Velázquez Street 53, Madrid, 28001, Spain with Tax Identification Number G-84442755 and owner of the Portal www.madridexcelente.com informs Portal users regarding its Policy on Data Protection of a Personal nature, in conformity with the legislation in effect on this topic.
The Madrid Foundation for Excellence hereby states that is meticulously complies with all the provisions established by the Organic law 15/1999 on data protection of a personal nature (hereinafter LOPD) and the law that expands on it.
All the data of a personal nature gathered on the Web shall be incorporated in the automated files duly inscribed at the Spanish Agency for Data Protection, the responsible party of which is the Madrid Foundation for Excellence. Each time that data of a personal nature is entered in any section of the Web it shall be duly informed in compliance with that established in the fifth article of the LOPD of the treatment that is going to be performed on the data provided.
DATA OF A PERSONAL NATURE
The data set gathered in the different areas of the Portal shall fulfill each and every one case with the principles established by the LOPD. All collection, treatment and storage of the data of a personal nature shall always be performed in conformity with those principles of quality, information and consent.
It is hereby guaranteed that the data of a personal nature shall NEVER be used for a purpose different than that for which it is collected and that it is pertinent and necessary in order to carry out the legitimate purpose for which it was gathered.
In each collection of personal data, the USER SHALL BE INFORMED of the purpose for which it is produced as well as the other points set forth in Article 5 of the LOPD and the rights that concerns the affected party as and where they can exercise them.
THOSE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FILE
The affected party shall have at all times the right to access the automated file, thereby being able to exercise the rights of ACCESS
RECTIFICATION, CANCELLATION AND OPPOSITION under the terms set forth in the legislation on data protection.
If one wishes to exercise these rights they shall write to the Customer Service Department at the address previously mentioned and attach a copy of their National Identity Card.
In said letter the owner of the data must indicate the address at which the Madrid Foundation for Excellence may send a confirmation of their actions in conformity with their request.
COMMUNICATION OF DATA OF A PERSONAL NATURE
The Madrid Foundation for Excellence guarantees that any communication of data of a personal nature to third parties, if they existed, shall be communicated in conformity with the requirements of the LOPD.
The Madrid Foundation for Excellence shall not communicate the data of a personal nature if it does not have the consent of the affected party, according to that indicated in Article 11 of the LOPD
SENDING COMMERCIAL COMMUNICATION
Sending the Users commercial communication shall only proceed with their consent and with compliance with the obligation to inform about each one of the mailings are performed.

The Madrid Foundation for Excellence guarantees the implementation of security measures in order to protect information Systems that handle data of a personal nature in compliance with RD 994/1999 by which the Regulation on Security Measures was approved.
CONFIDENTIALITYThe Madrid Foundation for Excellence guarantees respecting the confidentiality of the data provided by Users.
REGISTRO DE VISITAS VISITORS REGISTRY
The Madrid Foundation for Excellence communicates to the user that on accessing the server of the Madrid Foundation for Excellence, an IP number shall be assigned that shall register, in addition to their access to the server, the pages that they visit which belong to the Network. The IP with this data shall be stored in a LOG file that shall be the object of treatment on the part of the Madrid Foundation for Excellence for purposes of determining the number of page visits to the www.madridexcelente.com Portal as well as for the performance of statistics.
This data is contained in a file, the ownership and responsibility of which is that of the Madrid Foundation for Excellence. The owner of the data shall have at all times the right to access the files, thereby being able to exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition under the terms set forth in the legislation on data protection as well as those set forth in the “Rights of Affected Parties Sections” of this Policy on Data Protection.
